Gain confidence and increase impact in your public speaking by workshopping tools and techniques of improvisational theater that reduce fear and elevate your stage presence. Through facilitated games and exercises, begin to visualize yourself as a performer and learn to warm up accordingly. Experience how you can move the room through effective use of voice, body language, intentional movement, and authentic forms of connection with the audience. In the last half hour, in a round robin public format, each of you is invited to give a 2-minute elevator pitch and receive real-time coaching linked backed to the workshop content.
This is going to be super fun, but also incredibly helpful to anyone with important speaking engagements. Mark your calendar and make arrangements to be there!

About the Facilitator
Joey Neugart is a teaching artist, a recovering lawyer, and surviving executive of two rapid growth start-ups. As General Counsel of Singularity University, a Silicon Valley-based learning and innovation company, he learned about the issued faced by founders who participated in various SU accelerator programs. In 2011, Joey stumbled on, and was instantly hooked by theatrical improvisation which he has studied with Keith Johnstone as well as teachers from BATS improv, Groundlings, Second City Chicago, and Saturday Night Live and performed at various festivals across the country as well as the Hideout Theater in Austin, Texas. Through Lightside Collective, Joey shares practical and profound offstage applications of improv with leaders, entrepreneurs, corporate teams, and other people in search of a lighter way of living.
